Weekly Update: Stalactites


Hey guys, hope everyone is staying safe out there.

This week I got some parallax backgrounds working in the cave areas as well as falling stalactites and of course more level design.  Also added the echo effect from dash to dive kick.

Stalactites will have a visual and audio cue before falling, but in dark caves they may catch you by surprise.

Also I have adjusted trap damage (spikes, lava, etc.) to 3 damage instead of instant death. With 3 life being what you start with after you die, it will give more temptation to get health from corrupting touch events. I am also going to edit save points to restore health and I am thinking of possibly put some risky/hard to get health restore items in.

Next version will be released by end of month, we are still on track.
