Weekly Update: Statues and Health


Ok so this week was fairly productive, spider caves are all in, still have some things I would like to do with them including secret areas but they are working which is important and you will find wall jump at the end of that route.

I also worked on the back end I have been discussing with the statues and corruption. So as you will see in the video, you can now survive spikes if you have 4 health. And you can now heal at statues which will lower corruption. There is still a ton of balancing left to do but by the end of this week I will have statues placed around the map and on death you will return to the last statue or save point you used.

For this month's release I want it to be possible to get to the temple entrance meaning that like 90% of the map will be reachable. (Temple will be the end game area so part of me wants to keep it locked off until the game is closer to complete.)
