Weekly Update: Zooming Out


This week, I have been placing harpies but also working on the view ports so that we can have some areas be more zoomed out, in places where you need to see more.  Also showing off that in some ares falling means going back to a previous area! 

There was a room with a heart piece that I had blocked off because it required using the dive kick on harpy heads that is now back in.  I have tested it and it works just need to decorate it now.  And the area above the forest now has harpies patrolling.

Due to the nature of GameMakerStudio 2 I have to set the max resolution on the first screen... so this change to the views is taking a ton of time as I need to go back and change a lot of things that referenced the old size.  Some can be find and replaced, but most can not.  So I am only about 1/5th of the way done with that. But it was brought to my attention that some areas were harder then they needed to be because of not being able to see where you are going, also that boss battles might be too cramped with the camera in so tight. So this became important to figure out before getting into some other parts of the game.

And the last thing I can't remember if I showed off before, but that was in the last update, basically, costing you some time, but not killing you.
